Departure from Athens: 8:30 am
Return in Athens: 6:30 pm on the fourth day
Highlights:
1st day: Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nafplion (short photo stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games.
2nd day: In the morning visit the archaeological site of Olympia with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Elia and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
3rd day: In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
4th day: Visit Meteora: among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Drive back to Athens passing via Thermopylae (visit) and Kammena Vourla.

I and my wife took part in the 4-days classic tour & Meteora. From the first moment the organization of the tour was blemishless: the bus collected us on time, and the timetable was exect. The composition of the group was really international from countries around the globe. And still - we human relations were very friendly and warm. Our guide - Anthony was knowledgeable and his information was adequate but not exaggerated. The plan of the tour was well thought and satisfying.
As a conclusion -it was perfectly organized, very enjoyable. And very informative. Thanks.

Very nice tour, we learned a lot with our guide and where very pleased with everything! The places we visited were really interesting and impressive. We would've taken a week or two to visit all those places by ourselves, therefore, the tour was a great option since we only had two weeks in Greece and wanted to visit some islands too.

Very glad we did the whole 4 days, we learned and saw so many wonderful things, we enjoyed the fact that the guide was with us at all times and enjoyed getting to know Cassandra better as well. The bus was always very clean and comfortable, driver was very nice and always made us feel safe.

The tour was terrific. The accommodation was great too. The driver was brilliant. The guide was very knowledgeable in two languages. Unfortunately I didn't think he divided his information equally between the Italian and English speakers. More 60% Italian and 40% English.

Going to all the historic sites is well worth the long bus rides each day. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable and spoke multiple languages. She did an excellent job. The one thing that could be improved on is the daily stops to shop at the local pottery or art place. This could be could be left out altogether. People came on the tour to see historic sites not to shop. The time spent at these places would be better spent at the hotel. After many hours driving each day I would rather arrive at 4-5pm and have a swim/ cocktail than arrive at 7-8pm and rush to dinner with no time to relax after a long day. Book the upgrade to the 'A' class. The hotels you get to stay at are much nicer. My partner and I really enjoyed the trip and would recommend it to others.

The tour by G.O. Tours was a great way to see some of the highlights of Greece in a few short days. Delphi and Meteora in particular were both spectacular. I'm more accustomed to small group tours and they are my preferred way of travelling, but even in spite of the large group the tour was well organised and our guide Effie was very informative. The first class hotels were all very nice, and it was great to have basically everything included in the up front cost.

I absolutely loved this tour! I was travelling solo and everyone was very nice and welcoming. I also met and made friends with other solo travelers. These trips are also family friendly. The stops were all breathtaking, and I liked the addition of Meteora, which was so amazing and beautiful! So many photo ops and great stops for food and coffee along the way. My group became a family, and I now have friends around the world! I got to practice my French, learn some Afrikaans, and try new things! Would definitely recommend!

We booked the the 4 day Classical tour with Meteora through Dolphin Hellas and it was wonderful! Greece is truly amazing and the sites unforgettable. The only complaints I have is that our tour guide would start his commentary at the site before the entire group was there. So if you were the last one off the bus you could miss out. I felt the hotels that we stayed in were always a bit out of town. It would be nice if they were in the cities so one could go and look around. Otherwise, a nice, low stress way to see the beauty of Greece!

The scheduling on this tour was a bit hectic, with being dropped off at our hotel right before supper, then being picked up quite early in the morning. It didn't leave a lot of time to wander on our own or explore the towns we stayed at. But there was so much touring packed into only 4 days, I guess that's the way it had to be. Otherwise, our tour guide was very informative and personable, and we got to see quite a few sites. We did the tourist class option, and it showed. There was nothing wrong with the hotels, but I wished we had payed a little bit more for the A class.

Fantastic tour even though I had been to several places before. Konstantine the driver was wonderful. The class A hotels were beautiful and very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour with George the tour director who goes into great detail about the site and history. He had a tough job with some of the people on this tour who did not listen to instructions.

Our guide, Maria, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable. Our visits were planned very well. Maria maximized our time and if there were other groups she quickly switched her approach so that we were not lost in a crowd.
On the downside, lunch stops were not memorable experiences. We found that the food, in general, not very good and over priced. Our hotels were comfortable and quiet.

The trip was well organized. Nothing to complain about. We enjoyed it a lot, and have decided to come back during summer or autumn. The guide Demi she is great and very kind and considering. Also knows how to deal with difficult situations. Well done.

Hands down the highlight of our trip! We saw so many unbelievable sights in such a short time. Our tour guide, Melitza, was the best we could have asked for. The narratives were very informative, the sights were breathtaking and even the long bus rides were fun. Loved every single place we visited. Hotels were all great...wish we'd had more time to spend there!
