Meteora monasteries Highlights:
1^st day: Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, arrive in Delphi and visit the archaeological site (visit to the Museum in Delphi is not included). Depart for Kalambaka, passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight.
2^nd day: Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument) and Kammena Vourla.

Great tour. The town was quaint but sadly, mostly closed upon our arrival. The hotel was okay - old/dated & the balcony was small & enclosed so our only view was of the mural on the wall. Food provided at the hotel wasn't very good. Tours were great & our tour guide was wonderful - great personality!

Both Meteora and Delphi were worth seeing and we were very glad we went. The driver and guide were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We both wished we had known that there would be such a nice swimming pool at the hotel. We didn't bring our bathing suits and could only look longingly at the pool. I suggest you mention that in your promotion and information sent to people signing up for the tour.

The journey there was very nice, with the picturesque scenery. The meals were good and the accommodation was comfortable. The guide for the tour was very helpful and gave very good information.

an interesting 2-day tour though the restaurant that they stopped for lunch on the first day was'nt that satisfactory-service was slow & food not up to standard. the lunch on the second day at mama's restaurant was good for the price that we paid for.
