Description of the accommodation

The Porto Veneziano hotel is a typical example of the post-war architecture (early 50’s). Built at the east edge of the old port of the town, it overlooks the picturesque harbour.

All 51 rooms and 6 suites feature individually controlled air-conditioning, central heating, direct-dial phone, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe deposit box, hairdryer, bathroom, soundproof windows, blackout shades and balcony. One of the very few hotels to have invested in a full geothermal air-conditioning system!
The Economy rooms can accommodate one person and have a Japanese style queen size bed; all other room types have a king size bed or twin beds. All rooms feature Coco-Mat sleeping system (mattress and top-mattress), while for the 3rd guest there is a Coco-Mat couch-bed available.
Junior Suites consist of a bedroom, a living room and a double balcony facing the sea.
The Open Bath Suite consists of a spacious bedroom with private balcony and an open-plan marble paneled bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower; both these spaces offer views of the old port and the sea.

In the hotel’s restaurant start off your day with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and indulge on the certified “Greek Breakfast” buffet, filled with fruits, local products and homemade delicacies.
A 16-spot self-service parking facility is available.
Porto Veneziano has been awarded with the “Bike Friendly” certificate: the most popular sights in the town of Chania are located close to the hotel and you can visit them by one of the hotel’s four vintage bikes.
