Operating for almost 40 years and recently renovated, the Galaxy hotel is housed in a modern building situated in an elegant area within easy reach of the port and the airport, at walking distance from the centre of the city of Heraklion and its world famous Archaeological Museum.
The 127 comfortable rooms are decorated in minimal and modern style and feature bath with shower or tub, hair dryer, direct-dial phone, satellite TV, WiFi, mini-bar, safe, espresso machine and balcony with city or pool view. The executive units have an additional sitting area and are bigger in size; inter-connecting rooms are available for families.
The hotel features indoor and outdoor restaurants, bars, swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas and also offers a golf package at the 18 hole golf court nearby with transfers to and from the court.
