Athens – Lycabettus theatre

This open-air theatre was built during the years 1964-65 by architect Takis Zenetos at the place of an old quarry. It was constructed on the initiative of Anna Sinodinou (Greek actress) in order to perform ancient tragedies. The theatre can seat about 3.000 spectators. On cultural events during the summer period it gathers many music and theater lovers.
